FOR THE BENEFIT OF: Central American refugee mothers and their young children seeking protection from life-threatening violence at the hands of their abusers, gangs, and police. Put in for-profit prison detention centers a few hours from Austin, some have been held over 10 months. They have family in the U.S. to care for them while they await their asylum hearing, but don’t have the bond money to be released – $1,500 to $10,000 per family.

Help set them free to reunite with family!

Donations go towards a Bond Fund set up by RAICES, a non-profit providing free legal services, organizing, and advocacy: http://www.raicestexas.org/pages/bondfund. Bond money is provided to families trapped in the detention center to pay for release.
