Mother and daughter (7)

Letter 8 pg 1 of 1

I entered the United States on July 28th, 2014. I was in the hielera for 9 days. On August 8, 2014 I arrived at this detention [center] with my 7 year old daughter.

On the third month of being here I had my interview and on January 20, 2015, the judge gave me an order of deportation. Then they interviewed my daughter. They gave her a positive. I am waiting to go to court for a bond to be able to leave to have the process outside. But my preoccupation is that, to the [other] ladies who are in the same process as mine, migration does not authorize their release because they have been deported before, and our children are paying for us. If they have a bond, we have the right to leave with them but I don’t know why they don’t let us leave.

We have been here for 7 months. The children don’t want to eat. They are desperate. We need help, that someone outside fight for us so we can be freed. In our country El Salvador there is much violence. We are afraid of returning. We don’t want to be deported. Please help us. Thank you.
