May 2 Faith in Action: Go to Dilley to #EndFamilyDetention
On April 26, 2015 | 0 Comments

Join hundreds of other people who will be going to Dilley, Texas to #EndFamilyDetention

We will meet at First Presbyterian Church at 8:45, have a short prayer and instructions about the day, and then return to First Presbyterian Church by 5:00 p.m.

Please plan to bring a sack lunch, water, and comfortable walking shoes.

Only 27 tickets left!! $15 – This is a great opportunity to learn more and get involved in helping the women tell their story who are imprisoned at the Karnes and Dilley Detention Centers. There are lots of volunteer opportunities and many different groups working on ending family detention.

Democracy Now! reports on Karnes Detention Center and the problems in immigration court held in a makeshift courtroom in San Antonio.
