Progressive Caucus, Judiciary Dems Hold Forum Hearing on Family Detention

WASHINGTON, DC – On July 28th, the Congressional Progressive Caucus, along with Democratic Members of the House Judiciary Committee and support from the Congressional Tri-Caucuses, held a forum on family detention.

Witnesses included two formerly detained women, a whistleblower who worked at a family detention center, and experts who spoke to the psychological, developmental and legal implications of current family detention policies.
