Here’s a webinar hosted yesterday on family detention by the Texas office of the Children’s Defense Fund:

In it, advocate colleagues and I share some of the reasons why we oppose licensing of family detention as child care.

A public hearing has been scheduled for this issue on WEDNESDAY, DEC 9 at 10am. in Austin at the Winters Building, SE corner of Lamar and 51st Street.
